Who is Victoria Nixon?

Victoria Nixon has had success in seven different careers – from Vogue model to advertising copywriter, from magazine editor to television producer, to owner of an exclusive deli in South West London, and now company director and author.

International Model

Discovered by the late fashion photographer Helmut Newton, Victoria (Vikki) Nixon was hailed by the Daily Mail as "the new face of '68" and went on to work with many of the world's top photographers in New York, Paris, Milan and London.

Author

Victoria’s first book ‘Supermodels’ Beauty Secrets’ was published in 2002 and nominated ‘Best Beauty Book’ by the Daily Mail, followed by ‘Supermodels’ Diet Secrets' in 2004.

Victoria has now written 'HEAD SHOT, a gripping coming-of-age memoir of her decade travelling the world as an international model in the 60/70's and dealing with the tragic deaths in her family.

In 1978 Victoria became an advertising copywriter and styled and art directed many television commercials and stills campaigns.

From 1979-86 Victoria was Melbourne Editor of POL magazine, an Australian avant-garde fashion and lifestyle glossy.

TV Producer

Victoria formed a film production company in 1990 creating documentaries including ‘The Price of Fame’ for Central TV which was a candid and unique series examining the extraordinary experiences of some of the world’s greatest stars of the time whose lives were changed forever by fame.

Deli Owner

In 1992 Victoria opened a Deli in South West London which specialised in fresh, healthy lunchtime food and used her experience in this area to write her second book ‘Supermodels’ Diet Secrets’ which was published in 2004 by Little Brown.

In 2005 Victoria, with Michael Messenger, co-founded Aircell Structures – an innovative company making humanitarian aid products.
